The 90s nostalgia is hitting us like a wave, because Supergrass is reuniting next year.
The Britpop staples, best known for hits like “Caught By The Fuzz,” “In It For The Money” and the Clueless opening tune, “Alright,” announced the band’s return via Instagram on Friday (Sept. 6). The teaser shows snippets of group’s music alongside the hashtag #Supergrass2020.
Supergrass broke up in 2010 without finishing their seventh album, Release The Drones. Singer and guitarist Gaz Coombes went on to pursue a solo career since the split.
The band did not identify what the reunion would entail, leaving hopes of a tour and possibly a new album up in the air. However, in the meantime, Supergrass was confirmed as the surprise headliner for the Pilton Party at Worthy Farm tonight.
