Tori Kelly is everywhere right now, promoting her latest album Inspired by True Events, which came out last Friday.
On Wednesday night, she made her Late Show debut with a performance of the LP’s title track.
Speaking with Zane Lowe for Beats 1 ahead of the release, Kelly said True Events was definitely the most vulnerable album I’ve ever done, the most raw.”
She added, “I really just poured my whole heart and soul into it. And I wrote most of the album with a guy named Jimmy Napes and he really just held my hand through the whole process because some of the sessions felt like therapy really, and just really opening up.”
Kelly certainly poured her heart out for her Late Show performance and earned a rousing, standing ovation. Watch below.
